To confirm your travel booking, you are required to pay a deposit which will be outlined by Champion Travel. Deposits are non-refundable for cancellations made by you (subject to the Consumer Guarantees Act) or if you change your mind. Some airlines or services require payment in full at time of booking which we will make clear at time of booking.
Due to airlines policies, fares are not guaranteed until paid in full.
Without exception cancellations and amendments incur professional services fees to bookings created by Champion Travel.
Champion Travel is not responsible for voluntary changes to flights by customers as is in violation of airlines’ cancellation policies and risks the airline automatically canceling onward flights as are treated as no-shows.
As result of COVID-19, airlines last year were forced to cut costs and reduce commissions paid to IATA Travel Agents including Champion Travel. Accordingly, Champion Travel applies a Travel Experts Service Fee in some cases. Champion Travel still strives to add value with background checks on passports, documentation, TIMATIC IATA travel requirements and VISAs, vaccination, health and COVID-19 updates on Champion Travel’s TravelPort website. This ensures ongoing value to tour package holidays, domestic travel needs, travel insurance, rental vehicles, cruises and all other auxiliary travel services.
Airlines require evidential proof of COVID-19 or sickness events to effect any subsequent refund applications.
Rental vehicle bookings may be cancelled by industry principals if travellers fail to show up in time (at least one hour in advance of collection) as prescribed by airlines. Passengers must now consult airline and cruise vendor websites to confirm their required check-in times to prevent their rental vehicle bookings being canceled. It is now mandatory by law that renters of vehicles get their international driver’s permit in every case.
Champion Travel acts as an agent for the industry principals and is not liable for failure of passengers to check in on time.
Involuntary Changes: Champion Travel Ltd will use reasonable efforts to inform you of any involuntary changes to your itinerary made by the airline, such as schedule changes, cancellations, or delays. However, Champion Travel Ltd are not responsible for these changes, nor any additional costs or inconveniences they may cause. Champion Travel Ltd will work with you to find alternative flight options based on the airline’s availability and policies. Rights of the carrier and limits on the carrier’s liability for delay or failure to perform a service, including schedule changes, substitution of alternative carriers or aircraft and re-routing, and, when required by applicable law, the obligation of the carrier to notify passengers of the identity of the operating carrier or substituted aircraft.
Champion Travel Ltd. is not liable for failure of buyers to interpret, accept and understand the validity and expiry of such products including (but not limited to) gift cards, gift vouchers as well as airline tickets, cruise conditions, travel insurance contracts, care hire principals, contract rules, hotel reservations and all other travel products and experiences provided by Champion Travel Ltd.
The buyer is responsible for obtaining all passport, visa, health and medical information required. The buyer is also responsible for ensuring they adhere to any and all relevant health warnings and receive recommended vaccinations of all countries they will be visiting. Champion Travel Ltd. will provide information on all needs.
Champion Travel Ltd as an agent acting on behalf of airlines, cruise and insurance companies and accommodation providers is not liable for delays in refunds from the industry principals.
Please note travel insurance has a maximum dollar value in accordance to your nominated policy. To fully cover your personal and electronic items such as hearing aids, glasses and laptops, please provide Champion Travel an itemised list to ensure we can provide you a quote for full cover.
Contracts of sales prohibits buyers being minors or non compos mentis.
